Updated: CAT adds one more day to testing period. The test, which is usually conducted over a 20-day window will be held for 21 days this year starting from October 11, 2012 to November 6, 2012.

About the Exam:

Common Admission Test (CAT)  is an all-India test conducted every year  by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as an entrance exam for the admission to the  various MBA and PGDM Programs of all the 13 IIMs and many other prestigious B-Schools of India.

This year CAT is being conducted and organized by IIM Kozhikode on behalf of all the IIMs. Qualification & Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: Applying candidate must be a graduate/Bachelor degree in his/her hand with at least  50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of SC/ST/DA/PWD) or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the ministry of HRD, Government of India. Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply... original mark sheets and submit photocopies to prove your eligibility at the time of interview. Further, if you are selected for a programme, original degree certificate and mark sheets along with your photocopies must be submitted for verification at the time of joining the programme.
