Himachal Pradesh Forest Department, Shimla is hereby issued the Jobs notification under the Government Notification & Rule for filling up the 205 Vacancies of Forest Guards purely on Contract Basis. All the Eligible and Successful Candidates who wish to apply are invited through Applications the prescribed proforma at Forest Circle Level.
Eligible Candidates will be Selected on the Basis of Physical Entrance Test (Height, Chest, Running).

- Name of the Post: Forest Guard
- Number of the Posts: 250 Vacancies
- Pay Scale: Rs. 5910-20200+2000 G.P per month
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualifications: All the Candidates must have Matriculation (10th) Passed or equivalent from recognized Board or Institute
- Physical Qualification: Candidates also fulfill the minimum required prescribed physical standards and Physical Efficiency Test are eligible.
- Age Limit: Age must be between 18 years to 27 years as on dated 01st January, 2013. ( Age relaxation to be provided to the reserved categories candidates as per govt. rules).

All the Successful candidates who fulfill the Eligibility Criteria and Interested, need to apply through the Offline mode via prescribed application format in person or through mail.
