Directorate School Education, Haryana is going to organized State Award function under the Letter/Memo No. 20/1-2013 nominations for the State Award to the teachers 2012 on dated 5th September at Teachers day. The Selected Teachers will be awarded on the 5th September under following categories of haryana teacher awards:
- Primary Teachers (Teaching class 1st to 5th) and
- Secondary Teachers - (Teaching classes 6th to 12th).

Eligibility Criteria:
There are the following qualification required to be eligible ( Instructions):
- Teachers with at-least 15 years of regular class teaching experience and Headmasters/Principals' with 20 years of regular teaching experiences on 31 st December 2012.
- The Educational Administrators including Director and Staff of SCERT/ DE0s/ DEEOs/ Principal DIETs and Staff of ,DIETs/ Dy. DEOs BEOs / AEOs are not eligible for these awards.
Selection Criteria for State Award winner:
There are different rules and regulations and marks distribution on the basis of activities done by JBT Teachers, Lecturer, Masters, C&V Teachers , Principal, Headmaster, PT DPE/PTI) as follows like:
- Last 10 years ACR-10 Marks.
- Results-30 Marks.
- Involvement in social life of community-10 Marks.
- Duties performed in addition to teaching-10 marks.
- Innovation in teaching-20 marks.
- Award won by the children of the respective teacher-10 marks.
- Higher qualification-05 marks., Training-5 marks., Total marks 100.
- Achievements in SPAT (Sports and Physical Aptitude Test) 10 marks etc.
- Training : 5 Marks
