ASRB of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is going to conducts Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Examination for appointment as Scientists in Agricultural Research Service (ARS) of Indian Council of Agricultural Research. There are two exams:
- The preliminary ARS Examination is on 24.02.2013.
- ARS Main Examination 2012 is on 23.06.2013.

eligibility:
Educational Qualification: To a part of Eligible Candidate, Candidate must have Master’s degree in the concerned discipline with specialization in any of the 55 disciplines mentioned in the notification(as on 31 October 2012)
Age Limit: Candidate's age limit is Minimum 21 years and Maximum 32 years.

Eligible and Interesting candidates need Apply OFFLINE Application. Candidate needs to download this application form from the Official Website of ICAR/ ASRB at www.asrb.org.in/ and after filling the essential information need to send at the following address:

Application Fee: For General and OBC category candidate is Rs 500( For Women/ SC/ ST/ PH candidate is Rs 20). The fee must be paid in the form of Crossed Bank Draft only drawn in favour of Secretary, ASRB and payable at New Delhi with the application form. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of the Demand Draft.

- Closing date for sending application: 18 December 2012
- Closing date for sending application (from remote areas): 31 December 2012
- Preliminary ARS Examination 2012: 24 February 2013
- Main ARS Examination 2012: 23 June 2013
selection process:
Selection procedure for ARS Examination 2012: Candidates will be selected on the basis of two separate competitive examinations followed by viva voce.
